Ozzie Smith was a baseball player, who played for the San Diego Padres and St. Louis Cardinals, and whose career lasted from 1978 to 1996. Smith was a short stop, who earned the nickname "The Wizard of Oz" due to his athletic abilities. He earned 13 Gold Glove awards, and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2002.
