Sneaker was a rock band formed in Los Angeles and active between 1973-1982. The band consisted of Mitch Crane on vocals/guitars, Michael Schneider on vocals/keyboards, Mike Hughes on drums, Michael Cottage on bass guitar, and Jim King on synthesizers/vibes.

In 1981, Sneaker was signed onto Handshake Records. Jeff “Skunk” Baxter, guitarist for both Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers, produced both of their albums. They would go on to become best known for their hit single, “More Than Just the Two of Us,” which reached number 34 on Billboard Hot 100.
