Additional Information | The Canadian rock band Rush released their fourth album 2112 in 1976, which later went gold. The concept album's song lyrics described a dystopian world set in the year 2112, which bore similarities to the plot of Ayn Rand's novella, Anthem. The album was included in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die, and was also recognized by the Audio-Visual Preservation Trust of Canada as a culturally significant classic worthy of preservation in 2006. |
