Uncle Jim was a popular radio host in the 1930s. The Bosco Ann Club is a reference to the William S. Scull Company from Camden, New Jersey, who imported, packaged, and sold  Boscul coffee and tea. WGY radio, located in Schenectady, New York, is one of the oldest stations in America. It was General Electric’s flagship station from 1922-1983.
