Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR) was the 32nd president of the United States from 1933 until his death in 1945. Before there was a limit on how many times one could be elected as president, FDR won four presidential elections and took America through the Great Depression and WWII. He is considered one of the most influential figures of the 20th century. In April of 1945, FDR suffered a massive cerebral hemorrhage and died at the age of 63.
