Additional Information

The American Medical Association Women Physicians Congress was formed in 1997 “to provide physicians and medical students with a forum to discuss the health and professional concerns of female physicians and medical students”. Some of the WPCs goals are to encourage and mentor female medical students, increase the number of women physicians in leadership roles, and to highlight and advance women’s health agenda. Membership is free and open to all AMA members interested in and working in women’s health.
