Additional Information | Armenian Power refers to citizens or residents of the United States who have a total or partical Armenian ancestry. They are the second largest community in the Armenian diaspora after the Armenians in Russia. Armenians began to immigrate to the U.S. in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The first great Armenian migration to American began in the 1890s.There was a second wave of immigrates after 1920, along with a third wave to America following WWII. There is an estimated 700,000 Americans of Armenian acestry. |
