Additional Information | Benjamin "Ben" S. Adamowski was a politician and lawyer from Chicago, Illinois. He served in the Illinois House of Representatives from 1931-1941 and as State's Attorney of Cook County from 1957-1960, heading the second largest prosecutor's office in the United States. After losing a mayoral bid in 1963, he was inactive in politics, but reemerged in 1970, when he ran for Cook County Assessor. This button features the slogan of his return, albeit unsuccessful, campaign. |
