Additional Information | BFGoodrich was the first tire manufacturer in the US (1896). Their tires fitted not only the first car to cross the US in 1903, but also Charles Lindbergh's famous 'Spirit of St. Louis' and the 1977 Columbia space shuttle. The T/As (Traction/Advantage) performance tires are commonly associated with muscle cars. The company exited the tire business in 1988 and sold the brand name "BFGoodrich" to Michelin who now offers T/A performance tires for all types of vehicles from sports cars to mini vans.
