His appearance made headlines due to Clinton's saxophone performance of Elvis Presley's "Heartbreak Hotel". Clinton's performance on the show is considered by many as a significant moment in his political career. Clinton's eccentric performance helped build his popularity among younger voters. Upon the episodes release, images of Clinton's performance became used for his presidential campaign, which he would go on to win. |
