Additional Information | "Gouranga" is a Hare Krishna mantra meaning "be happy." Hare Krishnas are followers of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). ISKCON was founded in 1966 in New York City by A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and is based on Hindu scripture. “Gouranga” means to spread joy and bring awareness of Hare Krishna. The word can also be found on bumper stickers and in spray-painted graffiti. |
