Camouflage

“Telo mimetico” (camouflage cloth) was used for Italian tents and military uniforms starting in 1929. Variations on the pattern were used for military purposes through the 1990s. Fashion designers have made civilian clothing and accessories with camouflage prints throughout the 20th and early 21st centuries, changing up colors and scale for visual effect.
