| Additional Information | In 1979, Fitness Canada was founded by the Fitness and Recreation branch of the Fitness and Amateur Sports Directorate. Fitness Canada began sponsoring an initiative called “Fitweek” every May. During Fitweek, Canadians partake in various activities such as “Sneaker Day” where people are asked to wear sneakers to work or school. |
