| Additional Information | Over June 26-27-28, 1923, the Illinois State Sunday School Association held its annual convention in Aurora. Discussed were subjects such as changing to a graded plan, which would emphasize educational learning; changing the name of the organization to the Illinois Sunday School Council of Religious Education; and the immorality of motion pictures. Prof. M. A. Honline of Pasadena California, speaking at the convention, said that: “the churches, to realize on the motion picture possibility for good, will have to turn from the type made at Hollywood and go into the producing field themselves.” |
