Younger had been serving as California’s Attorney General since 1971, where he was instrumental in shaping the California Environmental Quality Act. He had also worked as an FBI agent, a judge, the Los Angeles County District Attorney, and an actor in legal dramas. His wife, Mildred, was a well-known political activist. |
