Additional Information | This photo of Jane Wiedlin, guitarist of The Go-Go's, was adapted from the cover of their debut album, "Beauty and the Beat," in 1981. It featured hit singles like "We Got the Beat" and "Our Lips Are Sealed." In 1978, the Go-Go's were one of the first female bands to write, produce, and play their own songs, which were a mix of pop, punk, and rock. Since her time with The Go-Go's, Jane has produced six solo albums, is an actress, and has her own comic book series, "Lady Robotika."
