This button features the image of The Go-Go's' debut album, "Beauty and the Beat," (1981). It featured hit singles like "We Got the Beat" and "Our Lips Are Sealed." In 1978, the Go-Go's were one of the first female bands to write, produce, and play their own songs, which were a mix of pop, punk, and rock.

A 30th anniversary edition of this album was released in 2011, including a live performance from 1981.
