Additional Information | Gus Savage was a politician and influential publisher from Chicago. He was an outspoken champion of equality and black liberation, but was marred by personal and political controversies. He served Illinois in the US House of Representatives for six terms between 1981 and 1993. Savage died on October 31st, 2015. |
