The Bellevue refers to the Bellevue Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Bellevue was built in 1904 by George Boldt and was the largest hotel in the city with 19 floors and 1,000+ rooms.  Located on broad street the hotel has the nickname “Grande Dame of Broad Street”. The hotel is known for its impressive French renaissance style. The Bellevue has a large 11,000 square feet ballroom that features ornate light fixtures designed by Thomas Edison. The hotel was featured in movies including Rocky III. Today the hotel is operated by the Hyatt.
