Additional Information | Ivory Snow, a laundry detergent made by Proctor & Gamble, was first marketed as being "99 44/100% pure", gentle enough for baby clothes and diapers. Ivory Snow claimed to be the safest soap around with multi use capabilities; baby laundry, family laundry, and even household dishes. An advertisement which ran in the 1970's has New York model turned adult film star, Marilyn Chambers,e featured as the loving mother on the box. When Proctor & Gamble realized that the face of Ivory Snow was also in the adult film industry, they pulled the boxes from the shelf and replaced the advertisement. |
