Jerseymaid Dairies was a company producing milk, ice cream, and other dairy products. They first opened in 1936 in Los Angeles, California, as one of several dairy businesses in the area. Between the 1960s and the 1970s, several grocery chains including Safeway/Vons and Kroger became co-owners of the brand. Vons later became majority owner after Kroger exited the Southern California market in the early 1980s. As of 2022, Jerseymaid is a private label used by the Safeway company under the umbrella of its Lucerne Foods branding.
