Comedian Jon Stewart was the host of Comedy Central’s late night news satire program The Daily Show from 1999 to 2015. In a 2007 Pew Research Center poll, Stewart was found to be one of the most admired journalists in the media. As a "fake journalist," he tied for fourth with well-known actual journalists, Brian Williams, Tom Brokaw, Dan Rather, and Anderson Cooper.
