Additional Information | The Kinks released Low Budget, their 17th studio album, in 1979. Low Budget had a more rock-based sound than the band’s earlier albums. The album did poorly in the United Kingdom, but it was their most successful non-compilation album in the United States. Low Budget eventually reached #11 on the Billboard 200 album chart. The album’s lead single (Wish I Could Fly Like) Superman peaked at #41. |
