Additional Information | Patrick Australia Badges began in 1913 when Arthur William Patrick (b. 1864) was established as a button badge manufacturer in Sydney, Australia. In collaboration with four of his brothers, Arthur William set out to work as a photo enameller. Due to a demand in button product as a result of WWI, Arthur William and brothers Alfred, Herbert, Walter, and Victor established businesses in Melbourne (approx. 1916) and Adelaide (1918). Although production in button making has changed overtime, Patrick Australia still manufactures badges and uses some of the original machinery to do so. |
