Additional Information
This is a promotional button for an album entitled "Loud, Fast Ramones: Their Toughest Hits" by The Ramones. The album was release in 2002 and is a greatest hits album featuring over an hour of their most popular and significant music. Receiving generally high ratings the album features punk rock classics such as "Blitzkrieg Bop", "The KKK Took My Baby Away", and "I Wanna Be Sedated". Some copies of the album feature a bonus disc of songs recorded live at the Lyceum Theatre in London in 1985.
The Ramones were an American punk band formed in 1974 in New York City. Although the Ramones never achieved great commercial success, they are seen as one of the most important and influential bands in the punk rock movement. In 1995 the Ramones released "Adios Amigos" and vowed to disband if the album did not sell well - which it did not.
In 2002 the Ramones were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Green Day played Ramones songs in tribute at the ceremony.
