Additional Information | Lucille "Lucy" van Pelt is one of the characters in the Peanuts comic strip by Charles M. Schulz, debuting in 1952. Characterized as "crabby" and "bossy," she is typically portrayed as bullying Charlie Brown and his friends. She is the older sister of Linus and Rerun and is also known for her unrequited crush on Schroeder. Lucy also operates a psychiatric booth that is similar to a lemonade stand but rather she charges a nickel per psychoanalysis. The outdated term "Gal Friday" refers to a woman who works as an assistant, especially doing secretarial and clerical work. |
