| Additional Information | Six Flags Magic Mountain is an amusement park located in Santa Clarita, California that opened in 1971. Roaring Rapids is a river rapids ride that was constructed there in 1981 to duplicate the popular Thunder River ride at Six Flags Astroworld. Similar rides at other Six Flags parks include: Congo Rapids (formerly Roaring Rapids) at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey (built in 1981), Roaring Rapids at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington, Texas (built in 1983), and Roaring Rapids at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois (built in 1984). |
