Additional Information | Manitoba is a central province of Canada, north of North Dakota and Minnesota. Cities across Manitoba host cultural events throughout the year, including music festivals, touring theater performances, and art exhibits. There are also over forty national parks within the province. One of these parks, the Riding Mountain National Park in Wasagaming, (about a three hour drive from the capital city of Winnipeg) is home to herds of buffalo. The buffalo is also found on Manitoba's official shield of arms and is the official mammal of the province. |
