| Additional Information | McCormick and Company, Inc. is one of the most well-known flavor companies in the world. The company started out in 1889 in Willoughby M. McCormick’s cellar, selling flavors and extracts door to door in Baltimore Maryland. In 1921 they moved to their landmark building in downtown Baltimore. The company survived the Great Depression by treating its employees kindly and fairly. In 1947, the company purchased the Schilling company of San Francisco, stretching their own brand from coast to coast. Finally, in 2014, McCormick and Company, Inc. celebrated 125 years in the business and giving contributions to getting “healthy and delicious food to the people who need it most”. |
