| Additional Information | New England Comics (NEC) is a chain of comic book stores based out of Massachusetts that buy and sell old and new comics and serve as local game and toy shops in the Boston area. Their most popular comic is The Tick, created by cartoonist Ben Edlund in 1986, and he serves as the NEC mascot. The Tick has made several television appearances with an animated show for Fox, a live action show for Fox, and most recently, another live action series, this time by Amazon, in 2016 with a second season in 2019. |
