Off Track Betting is sanctioned gambling on horse racing but outside the track instead of at the race. At first only legal in Nevada, it became legal in New York in 1970. Unfortunately, NYC OTB closed in 2010. Off-Track Betting is still legal in Canada, however, since 1989. |
