Additional Information | The rainbow design around the button was to imitate the logo for KLOS 95.5 FM, a classic rock radio station in Los Angeles, California. In the late 1980s, a company produced and sold buttons using this logo with the names of various popular musicians in the middle. The rainbow logo was very recognizable in the Los Angeles area. The buttons were made and distributed without the authorization of KLOS. The station was co-owned by KABC, the Los Angeles affiliate of American Broadcasting Company. The legal department of KLOS/ABC Radio shut the company down and confiscated all inventory. Pat Benatar is an accomplished American female rock star. She has won multiple Grammy awards sold millions of records. Incredibly popular in the 1980s, Pat Benatar still has a huge fan base. Known for her bold, edgy, fierce, and glamorous image, Pat Benatar is a trail-blazer. Her most recognizable songs are "We Belong," "Hit Me With Your Best Shot," "Love is a Battlefield," and "Heartbreaker." |
