Additional Information | The Wall is a 1979 concept album by Pink Floyd and a 1982 film based on this album. The crisscrossed hammers are used to represent fascism, particularly Nazi Germany, which the film heavily mocks and critiques. The animated hammers mimic the marching style of Nazi troops, and the hammer logo is used as a less offensive, more symbolic replacement for the swastika. |
