Additional Information | The Sex Pistols were a British punk band responsible for bringing punk to the United Kingdom. The best-known lineup was singer Johnny Rotten, bassist Sid Vicious, guitarist Steve Jones, and drummer Paul Cook. The band was extremely influential and controversial. Specifically, "God Save the Queen," which attacked submission to the Queen and conformity in general, was highly provoking. However, their career was very short and the band made only one album, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols. |
