| Additional Information | Sleater-Kinney is an indie rock band that formed in 1994 in Olympia, Washington. The band members are Corin Tucker, Janet Weiss, and Carrie Brownstein, who stars on the television show Portlandia. Sleator-Kinney was influenced by the feminist punk movement in the early 1990s. They recorded 7 studio albums in Portland and Seattle before going on hiatus for several years and returned to record another album together in 2015. |
