Tom Corbett, Space Cadet was an adventure serial that appeared in comic strips, television, and radio throughout the 1950's. The stories featured Corbett and his friends on their adventures as students of the Solar Guard. The official Space Cadet membership kit included an embroidered patch, a pinback button, a certificate of entry into the Space Academy, a space symbol decoder, and a copy of the latest issue of Space Cadet News. Fans could join if they mailed one boxtop from Kellogg's cereal to the Space Cadet headquarters along with their name, address, and 25¢. All merchandise included is signed by Tom Corbett and the gang, from the year 2350 A.D.
