| Additional Information | The Damned are a British punk-turned-goth band formed in 1976. They were one of the first punk bands in the United Kingdom after the Sex Pistols, with whom they played one of their first shows. Constant members of the band are guitarist Captain Sensible and drummer Rat Scabies. The band's first record, Damned Damned Damned was released in 1977 on Stiff Records. It claims the honor of being the first LP released by a UK punk band. |
