Additional Information | The organization known as Students Against Driving Drunk was established in 1981 at Wayland High School in Massachusetts by Robert Anastas. In 1997 the organization acknowledged the additional pressures that youth were surrounded with and opted to change their name to Students Against Destructive Decisions. The change embraced the need for youth to have education and support in their daily efforts to avoid the dangers associated with drinking, drugs, bullying and depression. There is a SADD chapter in all 50 states and over 10,000 overall. |
