This button likely refers to Dan Sullivan, a U.S. Senator from Alaska. Sullivan served as the attorney general of Alaska from 2009 to 2010. During his service, he prioritized protecting Alaskans their physical safety, financial well-being, and individual rights. Sullivan also held a campaign to combat Alaska’s high rates of domestic violence and sexual assault. Sullivan is one of the few attorneys in Alaska who held judicial clerkships on both of Alaska’s highest federal and state courts. He is also a veteran of a variety of military services. He also served as the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Economic, Energy, and Business under the administration of President George W. Bush. Sullivan currently serves as Alaska’s eighth U.S. Senator since 2015.
