Trick or Pete

Pete Buttigieg was elected mayor of South Bend, Indiana in 2011 and 2015. In April 2019, he announced his candidacy in the 2020 U.S. presidential election as a 2020 Democratic presidential candidate. A graduate of Harvard University and an Oxford Rhodes Scholar, Buttigieg enlisted in the U.S. Navy Reserve. He became a lieutenant when he was deployed to Afghanistan in 2014. If elected as President, Buttigieg would become the youngest president in U.S. history and the first openly gay.

Halloween is celebrated with a friendly greeting of trick or treat where people who knock on doors are rewarded with sweets or novelty items.
