Additional Information | The Tubes are a San-Francisco based band best known for their distinctive approach to satire, parody, and popular culture critique. Their first hit was "White Punks on Dope," which appeared on their 1975 debut album. The 1983 song "She's a Beauty" was a top-10 hit and popular in the early days of MTV. The image is the cover for their compilation album T.R.A.S.H. (Tube Rarities and Smash Hits) that was released in 1981. Reviews called T.R.A.S.H. the band's best album. |
