Additional Information

Wrangler jeans was created in 1947 by the Blue Bell Overall Company, founded by C. C. Hudson. Using the help of famous designer Bernard Lichtenstein (known as “Rodeo Ben”), the company developed a jeans line for cowboys that introduced innovations such as rear pocket positioned for comfort in the saddle and a zip fly.

Rodeo champions wore Wranglers, and the brand is inextricably linked with cowboy culture to this day. In the 1970s, the Pro Rodeo Cowboys Association endorsed Wrangler. Wralph Wrangler was created in 1975 as part of the plush promotion when the brand launched the children's line.
