Red-haired orphan Anne Shirley is the main character in this classic Canadian book series. The story takes place on Prince Edward Island in Canada during the late 1800s. Green Gables is the name of the farm where Anne lives. The farm is now a popular tourist attraction on Prince Edward Island. |
