Additional Information | Adam and the Ants were an English new wave band formed in 1977 by Stuart Leslie Goddard, Lester Square, Andy Warren and Paul Flannagan. The group was together with various members until 1982 and released three albums, Dirk Wears White Sox, Kings of the Wild Frontier, and Prince Charming. Goddard renamed himself Adam Ant after being released from a mental hospital for bipolar disorder while he was attending college. After the break-up of the band, Adam Ant continued to work as a single artist, and pursued an acting and stage career. |
