Additional Information | Nautilus is a fitness machine company established in 1986. They sell upright bikes, treadmills, recumbent bikes, and ellipticals. Nautilus was founded by Arthur Jones who revolutionized the fitness industry. Originally the company was called Arthur Jones Productions, but the gear on the machines resembled a nautilus, the spiral sea mollusk, so he rebranded it. With his new inventions, Jones helped popularize health clubs as people felt these new machines were more efficient for exercise. |
