Kings Island is an amusement park in Mason, Ohio that opened in 1972. The Beast, one of its premier attractions, is a wooden roller coaster that has been consistently rated by enthusiasts as one of the world’s top coasters. When it first opened in 1979, it broke records as the tallest, longest, and fastest wooden roller coaster in the world. To this day it still maintains its status as the longest wooden roller coaster in the world, spanning more than 35 acres.
