The Black Keys formed in Akron, Ohio in 2001 and has two members, Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney.  They released their sixth album, Brother, in 2010.  The first single from the album, "Tighten Up," brought the duo's unique sound to the mainstream and their first Billboard 100 hit.  It peaked at eighty-seven and the humorous video for the song won the MTV Video Music Award for Breakthrough Video.  While less commercially successful, the duo's second single, "Howlin' for You," brought star appeal.  The video for the song features Diora Baird, Corbin Bernsen, Todd Bridges, Sean Patrick Flanery, and Shaun White.  The video was nominated for the 2011 MTV Video Music Award for Best Rock Video.  Auerbach and Carney went on to win three Grammy Awards for Brother.
