Although the Rock and Roll duo The Black Keys formed in Akron, Ohio in 2001, it was not until 2010 that they received the ears of the masses.  The Black Keys' sixth studio album, Brothers, and its singles "Tighten Up" and "Howlin' for You," helped Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney realize they no longer needed to sell their songs for British mayonnaise commercials to make a living in the music business.
