Additional Information | Canada’s Fitweek is an annual celebration of physical fitness across the country of Canada. Appearing as early as 1977, Canada’s Fitweek is claimed to be the largest celebration of physical activity in the world. For the event, schools, companies, and government organizations hold fitness activities for all ages to partake. In 1988, the Toronto Airport organized a tug o’ war in which employees competed in pulling a DC-8 aircraft against employees of Worldway. |
