Additional Information | Shabbona is a village located in DeKalb County, 30 miles west of Aurora IL. As of 2010, the population census was 925. The village is named after Chief Shabbona of the Potawatomi tribe, who traveled through the Fox Valley warning white people of the approaching Black Hawk war. |
